Boo to you, Brent, and welcome to planDisney! I’m excited to help you with your spook-tacular question about celebrating
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort.
Fall is one of my favorite seasons at the Happiest Place on Earth! From the festive décor to the delicious treats and boo-tiful merchandise, there’s something so special about Halloween at the Disneyland Resort. Unfortunately, we don’t have any updates on a potential reopening date just yet. Currently,
the Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels are temporarily closed, and will reopen at a later date, pending state and local government approvals. I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, and on
Disneyland.com for all the latest updates and announcements.
Since you’re planning to be in Anaheim in October, I do still have some recommendations for getting your Disney fix, even if the theme parks and hotels haven’t reopened upon your arrival. The Downtown Disney District
has begun a phased reopening, and most of the shops and dining locations are currently open! While you’re there, you won’t want to miss a stop at
World of Disney, where you’ll find all the latest
Halloween merchandise. And since a visit to the Disneyland Resort isn’t complete without some churro toffee, you’ll also want to stop by
Marceline’s Confectionery for this delicious treat!
To help you and your family get in the mood for Halloween at home, you won’t want to miss
these dreadfully-delightful recipes. I can taste those
Pumpkin Bars now! You can also peruse the latest Halloween merchandise online on
shopDisney.com. The
Halloween Shop has everything you need, from this frightfully fun
Haunted Mansion Salt & Pepper Shaker Set, to this
Poisoned Apple Color Change Mug!
I hope we have some updates for you soon, Brent, and that we can make your Halloween dreams come true!
Happy haunting!
Kristin
