I plan on doing a quick 2 day Disney world vacation before we board our Disney cruise ship. My family has never been to Disney. Can you give me the best plan for Disney parks in 2 days? We are getting park hopper tickets. My kids are 14 and 6.

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elizabeth!

Wow! A Disney Cruise Line vacation is a wonderful treat; starting with a visit to Walt Disney World? Even better!

Having never visited Walt Disney World, you must visit Magic Kingdom Park first. Once you get to Main Street, U.S.A. and see the iconic Cinderella Castle, you'll know you've embarked on the most magical journey yet. It's goosebump-worthy!

Spend a day there, as there are many activities for your entire family to enjoy. Choose your top 3 attractions and make your FastPass+ plans ASAP (the most popular go quickly), up to 60 days in advance if staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, 30 days if not. Once you have enjoyed that 3rd ride, make a FP+ for a 4th. Use that FP+ and you may make a 5th, etc. Top picks include Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. End with a viewing of Wishes nighttime spectacular; it's a must-do!

On your 2nd day, choose a park based on interests: Star Wars fans? Disney's Hollywood Studios. Frozen? Epcot or DHS. Love animals? Try Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.

You can park hop easily between MK and Epcot; DHS and Epcot are also easy commutes. AK is a bit farther, so spend a full day or start early so that you still have time to hop.

Send more questions as you plan, Elizabeth; we love to help!
