Hi Emily! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. I’m thrilled you’re dreaming up a little pampering at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Nothing says “vacation mode activated” like a fresh set of nails in that gorgeous Victorian glow.
Emily, I’m happy to share that your 16-year-old daughter can absolutely enjoy the 50-minute Momentous Manicure at the
Grand Floridian Spa. Guests ages 14–17 are welcome to book most salon and spa services as long as a parent or guardian is present during the treatment. It’s such a fun way to treat her to something special right in the heart of that dreamy Victorian atmosphere.
Now for the fun part! Even if you are visiting only for a manicure, you are still considered a Spa Guest, which means you can enjoy many of the amenities available that day.
You will have access to the steam room, whirlpool, lounge chairs, showers, and the relaxation room. The relaxation room includes light refreshments, soothing music, and a peaceful place to unwind before your treatment. Light snacks are typically available, such as nut mixes, chips, and tea, water, and coffee upon request. In the dressing room, you will find a cozy robe and fluffy sandals waiting for you in your locker to enjoy during your visit.
I went ahead and confirmed all this information directly with the spa, and the friendly Cast Member also recommended arriving extra early. That way, you can take full advantage of the amenities before your manicure. Once your nails are freshly polished, you may not want to risk smudging them by using the steam room or whirlpool afterward.
When you are ready to book your magical spa moment, you can
make an appointment online. If you have any questions before reserving, you can email spa.requests@disneyworld.com or call (407) 824-3039. Guests under 18 will just need a parent or guardian’s permission to call.
I hope your spa day leaves you both relaxed, refreshed, and glowing with that glorious Grand Floridian magic. If you want help planning the perfect Disney day around your pampering session, I’m right here and happy to help.
Wishing you charm, calm, and a touch of Grand Floridian grace,
Emille
