Welcome to planDisney, Ginette!
Planning a family vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort can be overwhelming. However, you've got a friend in me! My planDisney friends and I love nothing more than helping fellow Guests plan their next adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
To book a vacation package, one option is to
speak directly to a Cast Member. They can help you plan a vacation that accords with your budget. They'll be able to book accommodation and tickets for you, as well as answer any questions you might have.
Another option that I'd like to suggest is finding an authorized Disney vacation planner. Although they are not employed by Disney, they are experts at helping folks like yourself plan a fantastic Disney vacation. And here's the best part: there are a number of no-fee agents who can help you plan your vacation (and since they know all the tricks of the trade, they can often save you money in the process).
But before I sign off, let me give you some personal suggestions:
If possible, stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. There are a variety of options available to meet the needs of people on different budgets. With their unique storytelling, theming, and customer service, Disney Resorts truly immerse you in the magic. Make sure you become familiar with all the
magical benefits that are available to Guests staying on property.
As Winnie the Pooh once said, "What could be more important than a little something to eat?" Ginette, did you know that Walt Disney World is famous for its amazing food? There are so many delightful places to eat, not only at the theme parks but also at the Disney Resorts and
Disney Springs. You're going to be spoilt for choice!
And obviously, you're going to want to visit the theme parks! There are four theme parks, namely, Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. There are also two water parks on property, namely, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park (currently closed for refurbishment). At the very least, I'd encourage you to visit as many of the four theme parks as possible. My favorite is Magic Kingdom Park. However, each one is truly enchanting!
I hope you have a great trip, Ginette. Stop by planDisney again if you need any further help.
TTFN, ta-ta for now.
Mike
