Hey Brenda!
I see you're starting to plan your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort, my absolute favorite part of the process! By getting an early start, you'll have plenty of time to organize every detail and do all your research. I'm so glad you reached out, and it's truly my pleasure to help you today.
For me, the most important part of planning a Disney trip is making sure it fits my budget. I like to book my Disney Resort hotel as soon as it becomes available, since Disney only requires a deposit at the time of booking. After reserving, I keep an eye out for
special offers. If a promotion comes up that matches my dates, I
call Disney and a friendly Cast Member applies it to my existing reservation, because who doesn't love saving money while enjoying the magic?
While there isn't an official Disney payment plan, you can make as many payments as you'd like throughout the year before your trip. I prefer to make a payment every paycheck, so it's not a large lump sum when the final balance is due. It's easy to do: just log into your
My Disney Experience account, hover over “My Disney Experience,” select “My Plans and Tickets,” scroll down to your reservation, and you can make a payment right there.
Brenda, since you're getting a head start on your planning, I always recommend checking the
events calendar to see what's happening at Walt Disney World during your potential travel dates.
EPCOT hosts some amazing festivals where you can sample delicious cuisine and drinks from around the world. These festivals are truly unforgettable! It's also a great time to explore Disney Resort hotel options and decide which one you'd like to enjoy. There are so many fantastic choices, and by staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you receive
wonderful perks. My favorites are the
complimentary transportation and
Early Theme Park Entry, which lets you enter the parks 30 minutes before the general public. It's the perfect opportunity to experience popular attractions with shorter wait times.
Brenda, I cannot wait for you to enjoy Walt Disney World and create some magical memories. Please come back and see me anytime. You've got a friend in me!
Your personal planning companion,
Michelle
