Hiya Brianna,
Welcome to planDisney! From one Texan to a Texan at heart, I'm incredibly excited that you are here today. When it comes to planning a vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth, you can take the Texas approach of the bigger, the better or plan something smaller. While we cannot plan your trip for you, I can help point you in the direction that will help you plan your trip easier. Think of us as advisors, we can show you a path, but ultimately you are in the driver's seat.
When it comes to planning a trip, it really comes down to two pivotal questions:
What is your budget for the trip? and How involved in the planning/logistics do you want to be?
I like to start with Theme Park tickets when I'm thinking of budget and dates to visit. Prices for
Theme Park tickets vary based on the time of year and the day of the week. The holidays and weekends tend to be more expensive, so depending on when you visit, you can save a little money just by being flexible with your dates. Also, the more days you visit, the cheaper your tickets are per day. I can see you are thinking of early September, and in my experience, that tends to be a great time to visit from a budget perspective. Speaking of budget, I can't recommend enough getting a
Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package (which combines a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel with Theme Park tickets. With a Vacation Package, you can pay for your vacation over time and not have to pay for it all upfront (the final payment will be due 30 days before your vacation start). Dream vacations cost more than a tiny bit of pixie dust, so this perk can be a massive perk for a family on a budget. I also love staying onsite at Walt Disney World; you save on transportation around the parks, get to experience more time in the Theme Parks, and the accommodations are like staying in a fairytale. Unfortunately, Vacation Packages aren't typically available this far in advance, but thinking about this in advance can help you get the best deals potentially when they do open up for 2024. You can book a Vacation Package online or with the help of a Cast Member at 407-939-5277.
If you prefer to have your vacation planned mostly by another person, then an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner is who I suggest you work with. Walt Disney World trains them to help you find great deals and plan the details of your vacation to Walt Disney World. Just provide them with your budget and your preferred timeline and let them do the rest (for free). They may even be able to help you take some planning steps now rather than having to wait until 2023. If this is what you were looking for in terms of support, there are a lot of Authorized Disney Vacation Planners to choose from; all it takes is a quick internet search to find one you will enjoy working with.
I hope that this was helpful, Brianna. If there is anything else we can do to help you further, please reach out.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
