Hi there, Marwan, and welcome to planDisney!
The beauty of planning a vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, is that the possibilities are endless. I live a hop, skip, and jump away from the Disney Parks, and I still haven’t done it all! It is my pleasure to give you some tips and tricks about how to embark on this vacation planning process.
First things first, you need a place to rest your head at night (to get those batteries charged for fun days around the Resort). Staying off-property is always an option, but staying on property at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel comes with many perks. You’ll get Early Theme Park Entry (entering the theme parks 30 minutes before other Guests) and on select nights, if you’re at a Deluxe hotel, you can partake in Extended Evening Theme Park Hours.
Complimentary transportation around the Resort locations are so convenient, too. Not only can you book a stay at one of these beautiful hotels to get these perks, but you can also link the reservation to multi-day theme park tickets as a part of a vacation package.
On top of a Disney vacation package, you can add on a
Disney dining plan as well. With a dining plan, you don’t have to think about paying as you go when you’re at various dining locations around property. You can book a vacation package with a friendly Cast Member or book it on your own on the
Walt Disney World Resort website. If you’d rather have someone else figure out all of the little details, you may want to work with a third-party authorized travel agent.
There are four amazing theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort: Magic Kingdom Park (the original park and home of Cinderella Castle and TRON Lightcycle / Run), Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios (where you can find Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land), and EPCOT. I recommend that you try to visit each of these unique places at least once on your vacation.
AN EXTRA GEM: Once you get closer to your vacation, you’ll also be able to reserve blocks of time to enter Lightning Lanes, the faster queues, for theme park attractions. If you stay on property, you’ll be able to log in to the
My Disney Experience App up to 7 days before your vacation and book a
Lighting Lane Multi Pass and/or Single Pass. This is a new system that has been a game changer for so many Guests who like to plan ahead.
Marwan, I hope that this helps you get started on your Disney vacation planning journey. If you have any other questions before, during, and even after your visit,
give us a holler here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
