Hey there, Diana! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for sharing your question with us. At nearly 43 square miles, Walt Disney World is bigger than some cities, which is why they have their own complimentary transportation system comprised of buses, boats, monorails, and aerial gondolas. Let’s take a look at your travel options and make sure you get where you want to go!
Not only does the
My Disney Experience app allow you to make reservations and manage your tickets from your mobile device, but it also provides step-by-step directions to most locations around the resort. I end up using this feature every day I’m at Walt Disney World, so make sure you have it downloaded ahead of your visit.
It’s important to remember that transportation routes and schedules are subject to change, but at the time I’m writing this, there is a direct bus route between All-Star Sports and
Blizzard Beach. The My Disney Experience app estimates it to be a 39-minute trip between the hotel and the water park (again, subject to change). It looks like there is not currently a bus from All-Star Sports to Typhoon Lagoon, but the app suggests taking a bus to Disney Springs and then walking across the street to the water park (an estimated 65-minute journey). If you plan to visit Typhoon Lagoon and would like a more direct option, you may want to consider booking a
Minnie Van through the Lyft app.
I hope this information helps you have a splash-tastic day at the water parks, Diana. Don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have more questions. We’re always happy to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
