We plan on going to Disney on Easter Sunday. Can you tell me what Easter events are planned and do I need to signup ahead of time for them? Thanks for your time!

    Shannon:

You will find that each resort will have its own selection of events on Easter, from candy "hunts" to even appearances by the Easter Bunny!  They vary from resort to resort and change from year to year.  I have also found that they do not post the events prior to their week. Guests are simply privy to their resort's "gazette" newsletter upon check-in, listing the events of the weekend.

Two years ago, we stayed at Fort Wilderness for the Easter Weekend and never left the campus, as there was so much to do from activities at the pool to dodge ball on the tennis courts to pictures with the Easter Bunny.  Our children left with so much candy from the candy "hunt" that they were on a sugar high for weeks!

Other resorts will have similar events. We did not have to pre-register to enjoy any of the events, but I would recommend that you get to them early, as the crowd level for that weekend is one of the highest of the year.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
