We plan to use the Disney Dining Plan for our meals at Disney World. I know that my 1 year old will not have a dining plan so if we get him food at a table service restaurant will they print a separate bill just for his meal?

Hi Corrie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

For your upcoming trip, you'll find that meal time with the Disney Dining Plan is a really easy process, even when ordering extra items for your little one. Each Cast Member is super helpful in letting you know how your dining plan works at each location and will easily be able to apply your dining plan credits to the appropriate meals and let you know how much is your responsibility for any additional charges. At Quick-Service and Table-Service locations, simply let them know that you are ordering a certain item for your little one who is not on the dining plan and they will charge you accordingly. You can then pay the total (and add gratuity at Table-Service locations) with cash, Disney Gift Card, credit/debit card or MagicBand charge at most restaurants.

Keep in mind that your 1-year old is welcome to share your meal at no additional charge, and when dining at a buffet or family-style restaurant, you can fill up a plate for him for no charge, as well. I like to use some of our snack credits to keep our young kids fed throughout the day, especially during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, which should be happening during your visit in late-September.
