We plan on going to Disney in Dec and looking to stay at Wilderness Lodge with our boys. Does anyone have any suggestions or reccomendations on room locations? Are there any standard rooms with less noise and nice views? Thanks for all your help!

    Hi, Christine!

Oh, the Wilderness Lodge in December is just gorgeous. Wait until you see the lobby all decked out in its holiday best!!

The rooms in the Lodge are centered around that huge open lobby, with wings of rooms stretching back from either side. Give a call to (407) W-DISNEY or ask your Cast Member at check-in if you can have a room that does not overlook the main lobby area. As glorious as the soaring ceilings and carved totems are, the vastness of the space can magnify sound. And Whispering Canyon Cafe - just off the lobby - can get pretty loud sometimes!

Because of its woodsy setting, proximity to Bay Lake, and themed pool area, the Lodge offers gorgeous views from almost every room. You're sure to be immersed in the scenery in whatever room you receive.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator!
