Hi, Jason! Thanks for sailing to planDisney with your question. Welcome!
I'd be happy to help you plan for an adventure aboard Disney Cruise Line on a
European itinerary. Disney Cruise Line generally offers European itineraries between May and September. Currently, one ship makes the transatlantic journey each year to offer exciting sailings to locations such as the British Isles, Spain, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and more. I'd say that the best itinerary for your family is the one that has the ports of call that interest you the most, and the length of cruise that suits your travel schedule. While there will only be one ship offering the itineraries, the itineraries are quite varied with several ports of call to choose from.
For the summer of 2026, the
Disney Dream is sailing to Europe. The Disney Dream features a Millennium Falcon cockpit inside
Disney's Oceaneer Club. During secured programming times, the Oceaneer Club is just for kids ages 3-10; however, there are certain times throughout the sailing when Open Houses are held, and guests of all ages can enjoy this space. Live Star Wars and Marvel shows are currently not featured onboard European Sailings. You might be interested in
Marvel Days at Sea, special themed sailings to the Western Caribbean that offer live shows featuring Marvel Characters.
In 2027, the
Disney Wish will be sailing to Europe. The Disney Wish has both Star Wars- and Marvel-themed immersive play experiences within Disney's Oceaneer Club, which will be available for your son to check out at the multiple Open Houses offered during the cruise. The Disney Wish also features a
Star Wars-themed lounge with some kid-friendly beverages, so the whole family can enjoy visiting multiple planets while jumping through hyperspace.
I hope you'll find a Disney Cruise Line itinerary that suits your sailing crew just perfectly. If you have more questions, please return to us at planDisney. My pals and I are always happy to help!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
