Hi Cathy!
I am so excited for you to be sailing in December on a
Very Merrytime sailing. Sounds like the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit!
As you probably know, Disney Cruise Line staterooms are considered connecting when they have an interior door between them. Based on your cruise date, I’m not sure if you are on the
Disney Dream from Port Canaveral or the
Disney Wonder out of Galveston because they both set sail on December 17th. Both ships have connecting staterooms; the Disney Dream has a larger selection with over 500 rooms that connect. But that doesn’t mean you won’t have options on the Disney Wonder. You can use the
Deck Plans online and choose your specific ship in the upper left-hand corner to see which staterooms are connected. Or a
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist can check the desired staterooms for you as you make your reservation.
Additionally, for staterooms with verandahs, the partition can be removed between the verandahs to create a larger balcony space. So it’s like double the connection between the Guests in those staterooms, creating a suite-like feeling inside and out! Having done this before, I can say that it makes for an excellent place to gather, share the day’s adventures, and take in the scenic views.
One thing is for sure:
so much will be included in your Disney cruise. Cathy, enjoy planning your Very Merrytime Cruise with Captain Mickey and his friends. And don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney anytime!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
