Ahoy there, Sandra! Welcome and thanks for taking the time to sail by with your question for us.
I’m delighted to see you’re planning on gifting a magical Disney Cruise Line vacation to your family for Christmas! This is truly generous of you and I’m sure your family will create priceless memories. Booking a trip for a large group may seem overwhelming. Disney Cruise Line is designed with families in mind, and it is great for a family vacation since there is something for everyone to do, for the young and the young-at-heart!
Since this will be a trip that involves your whole family, I recommend everyone taking some time to check out the
Disney Cruise Line website and narrow down your sail dates, destination, and the staterooms that spark your interests. To help determine how much the trip will cost, there are various factors that come into play including how many staterooms you need, whether you’re sailing during peak travel dates such as Thanksgiving week or Easter, as well as the duration of your cruise.
As for onboard accommodation, the type of stateroom (Inside, Oceanview, Verandah, Concierge, Suite) will affect the cost of your cruise. Most staterooms on a Disney cruise can comfortably sleep 3 to 5 Guests, depending on the bed configurations. For a splurge, Concierge suites can accommodate up to 8 Guests, including the very exclusive Concierge Tomorrow Tower Suite on Disney Treasure and Concierge Wish Tower Suite on Disney Wish.
Alaska is an incredible destination and your family will have a fantastic time on the Disney Magic or Wonder in the summer. Both ships will sail from Vancouver and travel to Alaska, passing through icy glaciers as you admire the beautiful, natural backdrop.
As you continue to plan your fun family cruise vacation, please feel free to sail by
planDisney again if you have more questions for us.
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
