Welcome to planDisney, Nancy! It looks like you’re wanting to create some magical memories with your extended family, and I couldn’t think of a better gift than a holiday Disney Cruise.
I consulted with Genie, and I’m delighted to report that there are several post-Christmas cruises leaving from US ports that still have five rooms available for your sailing party. For example, you could take a
5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise leaving from Galveston on December 28, 2025. If Port Canaveral is more convenient, you could opt for a
5-Night Bahamian Cruise that visits both of Disney’s island destinations:
Castaway Cay and
Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
To book more than 4 staterooms for the same cruise, you will need to make multiple reservations online. The other option is to
call a Disney Cruise Line representative, who will be happy to assist with finding staterooms to accommodate your group. If it’s available, I highly recommend a stateroom with a verandah. There’s nothing like waking up to open the sliding door and experience the ocean breeze while enjoying a complimentary room service breakfast on my private balcony.
Once you find that perfect itinerary, download the free Disney Cruise Line Navigator app so you can start the countdown to your voyage. When your booking window opens, you can start planning
Port Adventures and exciting onboard activities. And because most of the children in your family will be able to explore
Disney's Oceaneer Club, you may want to book some time for the adults to relax at Senses Spa, followed by a special dinner at Palo.
I’m already picturing all the family photos you could take on Castaway Cay with the ship in the background. One final tip is to book an
unlimited photo package before boarding, so you save money and ensure you won’t miss a single memory made while at sea. If you think of any other ways we can help, I hope you’ll visit us again here at
planDisney!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
