Want to plan a Disney Cruise in December 2026. How soon can I make arrangements? I didn’t see December 2026 as an option.

Ahoy there, Juanita! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for sailing by with your question for us!

Here at planDisney, my fellow Panelists and I love planning vacations for our families and friends. And it looks like you’re quite a planner yourself! I’m delighted to see you’re already considering a Disney cruise vacation in December 2026. It’ll be here before we know it!

Unfortunately, it is a bit too soon to start booking your December 2026 vacation. Disney Cruise Line typically releases new itineraries around 15 to 18 months in advance. For the best rates and stateroom availabilities, I recommend booking as soon as the booking window opens for your travel dates. Since you’re planning to sail in December 2026, there will be Very Merrytime Cruises on select sailings. These specially themed cruises are full of festive fun! My extended family and I had a wonderful time during a Very Merrytime Cruise onboard the Disney Fantasy last winter. We loved seeing Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus together and enjoyed the scent of a giant gingerbread house wafting through the atrium.

Be sure to follow along the official Disney Cruise Line account, @DisneyCruiseLine, on your favorite social media platforms for all the latest updates. Also, you can check out the Disney Parks Blog for information regarding when new itineraries will be released and the date when your booking window opens.

As you continue to plan your upcoming cruise and have more trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again.

Hope to SEA ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
