    We plan to have dinner at ‘Ohana our arrival day. Mickey’s Christmas Party will take place on that night. Will ‘Ohana dim the lights and play the music during Holiday Wishes? We chose ‘Ohana because we hoped to view the MK Fireworks on our first night.

    Hello Nicole and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a wonderful question about your upcoming Holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
    My whole family adores dining within the lush Island inspired surroundings of 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and I am so thrilled to be able to share that during our last Christmas trip Cast Members absolutely dimmed the lights and piped in the jolly seasonal music from Holiday Wishes at the appointed time direct from Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which was taking place within the Magic Kingdom Park!  Oh and what a spectacular view of the fireworks we enjoyed from our table too and because of my own amazing experience my top tip for you is upon restaurant check-in to request a window table and explain that you'd be happy to wait a little while should a great spot be almost free.  Although it's always best to remember that requests at Walt Disney World Resort can never be guaranteed, but I can assure you Cast Members will always do their very best to accommodate the needs of each and every Guest.
