How to plan when and where to make dining reservations when the park hours for September 2020 haven't been released.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melanie!

I am excited to hear that you are planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! September brings amazing special events to the Walt Disney World Resort, such as Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Making dining reservations is actually one of my favorite things to do while planning my visits. There are many amazing restaurants and several locations are extremely popular, so advanced reservations are highly recommended. They can be made 180 days prior to your visit online, using the My Disney Experience mobile app, or calling (407) 939-3463.

The Walt Disney World Resort calendar is released 180 days in advance, which means that September hours are still not available. I recommend checking back in March at the 180-day mark, but please note that all hours are subject to change without notice even after being released.

I am currently planning a visit for July 2021, and even though hours are not available, I still enjoy planning our itinerary to have an idea of which park to visit each day. As soon as hours are released it is easier to make changes once you already have a plan. It is also important to plan ahead in order to learn more about the restaurants you are interested in dining at, check their menus and even start budgeting!

Thank you for sending your question our way, Melanie! We hope you stop by once again real soon as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World Resort visit.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
