How do you plan your dining reservations and fireworks plans for late September 2017 if Mickey's Not So Scary dates are not published until May?

Hello Cecelia and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a great question.
As an avid planner of my own families trips to Walt Disney World Resort I totally feel your pain in not being able to yet make those all important Advanced Dining Reservations and to further schedule evening entertainment via Park Hours & Calendars without 1st knowing dates for special events like Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the like. It is frustrating I know.
Personally I always keep a keen eye on the Disney Parks Blog to ensure that I'm amongst the very 1st to hear about current Disney news and announcements including special event dates.
I hope this helps in some small way towards your planning for a magical Autumn at Walt Disney World Resort
If I can help sprinkle some extra pixie dust onto your upcoming Disney plans please do pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
