Hey Ashika! I'm so glad you brought your question to planDisney! I would love to give you some trip advice.
If you arrive the night of May 26 but have no plans to visit either of the parks, I suggest you plan for a late dinner or quick family outing in the
Downtown Disney District. My son is not too far from your kids' ages, and we have a few family favorites, such as
Tortilla Jo's for a sit-down dinner,
Salt & Straw for ice cream, and although we haven't been yet, I hear bowling at
Splitsville Luxury Lanes - Bowling is full of family fun.
For your three park days, I suggest you use the
Disney Genie Service. The Disney Genie Service is a free service on the
Disneyland App where you can enter your must-do activities, dining, and entertainment. Genie will craft a daily itinerary. If you want even more than that, you can also pay for Genie+, which will allow you and your party to reserve
Lightning Lanes for shorter wait times on certain attractions.
I also recommend you and your family make plans to take a couple of breaks throughout your park days. Little ones are full of energy but often crash around lunchtime. My family normally heads back to our hotel for an hour or two in the mid-afternoon to rest our feet, watch a Disney show or movie, rehydrate, and finalize our plans for the rest of the day.
Lastly, before visiting Disneyland Resort, I recommend you look at the
Autism & Cognitive Disabilities webpage on the Disneyland Resort website. The webpage is full of recommendations to help you and your family navigate the park better.
Good lucking planning, and should you want more recommendations or tips, like a great place for a family of four to eat, or some great attractions for young children, I hope you bring your question to planDisney!
Best wishes,
Lola
