We would like to plan a 4 day Disney cruise from Port Canaveral and add a Disney World vacation for 3 days in 2027. How should we begin the plan. We need 3 state rooms (6 total adults) and 2 children.

    Ahoy, Kathleen!

Aye! A land and sea adventure is exactly what my family and I are hoping to plan soon too. Here are the steps we expect to follow to book a vacation that includes both a Disney Cruise Line sailing and some time at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    1. Watch for the announcement of new cruise itineraries for the dates you wish to travel. Disney Cruise Line itineraries have been announced through Summer 2026. Announcement dates can vary. But I would guess that Summer 2027 itineraries will be revealed sometime between February and April of next year. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest Disney Cruise Line news.
    2. Use the Find a Cruise page to identify the perfect cruise. Use the "Leaving" filter to choose your preferred departure date. The "Departing from" filter will narrow your search to the preferred departure port of Port Canaveral. Be sure to update the number of Guests. This is where you can specify the number of staterooms you need and how many Guests are expected to be in each stateroom.
    3. Book your cruise online or call a Cast Member with the Disney Cruise Line. After your cruise is booked, it's time to set up a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth either before or after the cruise. You can book your Walt Disney World Resort vacation online or call the Disney Cruise Line to arrange for a seamlessly integrated vacation experience, including air travel and ground transportation between your Disney Resorts Collection hotel and Port Canaveral.

As you get closer to your Disney adventure on land and sea, we'd be happy to continue to support your vacation planning. As regular Guests like you, we love to share our favorite Disney Parks experiences. From beginner's guides to ideas for adults to cruising for children and teens, we at planDisney are here for your planning needs.

    Bon voyage, Kathleen!
