I want to plan a cruise trip to Disney Park in Florida where is not to hot this year when is the best time with my family

    Hello, Mayna!

Welcome to planDisney. Since you live in Hawaii, I can understand not wanting to sail on the Disney Cruise Line or visit Walt Disney World Resort when it is hot!

I like sailing on a Disney Cruise at any time of year, but the holidays are my favorite. Some itineraries feature Very Merrytime Cruises, where the ships are filled with festive decor. Mickey and Minnie also host a cheerful holiday party, and Disney Characters show off their adorable seasonal outfits. I sailed on the Disney Dream during one of these cruises a couple of years ago, and I smiled from ear to ear the entire time! The weather was warm enough for my friends and me to still enjoy the pool without feeling too hot.

Spring is another great time to visit Walt Disney World and sail on a Disney Cruise. The weather is usually mild, and it rains less than in the summer. Summer often brings afternoon rainstorms, which can be refreshing during those hotter months. When I combine a Walt Disney World visit with a Disney Cruise, I like to start with the parks. My family has the most energy at the beginning of our trip, so riding all of the attractions and doing a lot of walking is not a big deal. Then, we slow down and relax during the second half of our vacation while sailing on a Disney Cruise. It is truly the best of both worlds!

To get started, visit the Disney Cruise Line website to explore the ships and itineraries that interest you most. I personally love 7-night sailings, but I have also enjoyed 4-night voyages when pairing them with a few days at Walt Disney World.

I recommend booking your cruise first, and then heading over to the Walt Disney World website to look at resort and ticket options. When you are ready to book the theme park portion of your stay, it's helpful to call the number listed on the Pre- and Post-Cruise Hotels Stays page to discuss the best approach for your plans. My favorite resorts at Walt Disney World include Disney's Pop Century Resort (easy access to the Disney Skyliner!), Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter (such fun theming!), and Disney's Riviera Resort (a beautiful resort with delicious dining options!).

Mayna, I hope this information helps you plan your trip. Please reach out to planDisney again if you have more questions!

    Happy sailing!
