    Hi! We would like to plan a cruise over Thanksgiving 2018. Which one would take us to the warmest weather? We are coming from Nebraska, so would really like beach time, shorts, sun, etc.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hear that you're thinking about spending the Thanksgiving holiday aboard Disney Cruise Line! We've set sail with Captain Mickey over the holidays and loved seeing the ship decked out in holiday decor! I didn't think a Disney Cruise could get any more magical, but I was wrong!

    I love your idea of setting sail to paradise! I agree, warm weather is a must! In my opinion, choosing either a Western Caribbean Cruise or an Eastern Caribbean Cruise will take you to places where sun, shorts and beautiful beaches are plentiful! The 7-Night Very Merrytime Eastern Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral sets sail November 17, 2018 and makes stops at exotic destinations such as Tortola and St. Thomas. The average temperatures for these islands in November range from the mid 70's to high 80's. This cruise will also stop at my favorite port of call: Disney's private island, Castaway Cay!

    If you do choose a voyage such as this one, you'll get to experience the onboard festivities during your Very Merrytime Cruise. When we set sail on our first Very Merrytime Cruise, I remember being in awe of the life-size gingerbread house standing in the Lobby Atrium! From the moment we stepped onboard, the smell of gingerbread filled the air! Since then, whenever we smell gingerbread around the holidays, we always tell stories about our Very Merrytime Cruise!
