I want to plan a cruise for 14 family members in June 2023. 5 nights. Can you help? I am not sure if I am a castaway club member. If not, how do I become one?

Hello there, Joy! Welcome to planDisney where my pals and I are happy to have you here.

A cruise for a group in the summer of 2023 sounds practically perfect to me. I’d be happy to give you some tips on booking your cruise so that you can enjoy your travel together. To begin, you may reserve up to four staterooms on one reservation by using the Find a Cruise Tool on the Disney Cruise Line website. When you reserve your staterooms together, you will be scheduled to dine together onboard. Your entire group will experience the same rotational dining schedule and be able to converse and connect over your evening meal.

If it’s better for your group to book your cruise reservations separately, you can link your reservations together after booking. You can accomplish this through either the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or on the Disney Cruise Line website by logging into your reservation. In the app, simply log in and look for your current cruise in the “My Reservations” list. Directly below, you’ll be able to view the option to “Add Reservation”. You will need your fellow traveler’s surname, birthdate, and their reservation number.

You are a Castaway Club member if you have sailed with the Disney Cruise Line before. If this will be your first ever Disney Cruise, Congratulations! It is going to be a great time and you will automatically be a Castaway Club member after the sailing is completed. If you have previously cruised with Disney, welcome back! You can sign in to your account on the Disney Cruise Line Website and under the “Already Booked” tab, visit the Castaway Club page for your membership information.

Lastly, I’d like to mention that you may prefer to utilize the services of a trusted travel agent to help you with your cruise booking. They can help make booking group travel such a breeze. I would ask around among your friends and social media circles for recommendations. I hope that whether you choose to coordinate your plans, or enlist the help of a travel agent, that your plans are all smooth sailings ahead.

Please cruise our way again if you have more questions. My pals and I are always here and happy to help you.

    Happy Planning!
