    We plan on coming to the park in October however, we will be using the military passes. Do we need to make reservations to come into the park for those 3 days? Or how does that work? I saw that they are starting to take reservations July 1st.

    Welcome and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Disney Military Promotional Ticket is a great deal! I’m so glad you’re looking to take advantage of it! 
     
    The Disneyland Resort offers promotional theme park tickets to active and retired US Military personnel. The 3-day Disney Military Promotional Ticket includes Park Hopper. That means you can enjoy the attractions at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on the same day! Tickets are valid through December 18, 2020. The Eligible Service Member must accompany guests using this ticket type. If you already purchased your tickets, your party should be able to walk up to the turnstiles with a valid military ID and enter the theme park.  
     
    You are correct that Disneyland Resort is now accepting hotel reservations beginning July 1st. And, discounted hotel accommodations are offered for members of the U.S. Military. Right now on the website, there are special offers for stays through December 17, 2020. The benefits of staying on-property include Extra Magic Hour! This perk, exclusive to guests staying at the Disneyland Resort Hotels, allows you to have access to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park for an hour before the park opens to the general public. It's my favorite way to start my fun-filled day at "The Happiest Place on Earth!"
