Hi Rika!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so delighted to hear your daughter will be
celebrating a birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth. I really can't think of a more magical way to honor this occasion! Unfortunately, there is not free park admission on birthdays, but there are still many great ways to celebrate while you are on your vacation. The easiest way to start is by grabbing a complimentary birthday button from City Hall in
Disneyland Park. Have your daughter wear this throughout your vacation for some extra special attention from Cast Members and Characters! My son just wore his as he celebrated his birthday last month, and it was so amazing getting birthday wishes in the most unexpected places. It really added a unique personal touch to our trip.
You may also want to consider making a special dining reservation to celebrate her birthday. Children of all ages have a wonderful time at the
Character Dining experiences throughout the Resort. I would highly suggest the Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park at
Plaza Inn for its fantastic location right in Disneyland Park. Another idea for a birthday treat would be a royal transformation at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique if your daughter is between the ages of 3 and 12 years old. Be prepared, though, as some children may request to only be referred to as "Your Highness" for the remainder of the trip after their princess makeover!
I hope this helped give you some ideas of how to spend this special day with your daughter!
