Hi Jacob,
Welcome to planDisney!
Well, this is happy news! Planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort and a Disney cruise is the best news I have heard all day. First, let me say that your time is short. So, let's get some plans confirmed.
I suggest that you select the cruise first. Take a look at your cruise options. My family did a three-night cruise on the
Disney Wish this past January. It was truly fantastic. We stayed for two days prior to the cruise at Disney's Contemporary Resort. I selected Disney's Contemporary Resort for our pre-cruise stay because of its proximity to Magic Kingdom and quick access to EPCOT using
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation. Cabin availability gets limited the closer you get to the sail date so do get that cruise booked. Know also that you have a
booking window for activities so be sure to check that carefully!
Once you get the cruise booked, then select your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and make a reservation. You can reserve the room and theme park tickets separately, but I suggest that you price out
vacation packages as well. Check out the
Special Offers to see if there is one available for the dates of your visit. Try to book that vacation package or resort hotel stay more than 60 days in advance so that you can have a good selection of dining options when you make
advanced dining reservations.
Jacob, I hope this helps! My biggest piece of advice is to make those reservations as soon as possible! Then, when you get to Disney, be sure to ride
Tiana's Bayou Adventure. The attraction is beautifully done, and the music is spectacular!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
