It seems you "see the line where the sky meets the sea" and it calls to you too. There are many ways to enjoy such an adventure. I encourage you to place a phone call to a Cast Member with the Disney Cruise Line. They will be more than happy to help you through booking your Disney cruise vacation.
Here are some general questions that will help choose which Disney Cruise Line vacation will be best for you. You have already answered some of these. So you are well on your way!
- Who will be vacationing together?
- When would you like to travel?
- How many nights would you like to spend on your cruise? Most cruise itineraries are from three to seven nights.
- Where would you like to visit? Options may include the Caribbean, the Bahamas, New Zealand and Australia, and Singapore.
- Where would you like to start your cruise? You might sail from Auckland or Sydney, Fort Lauderdale or Port Canaveral, Singapore or Galveston.
- What types of staterooms would you like to book? Inside, Oceanview, or verandah? High deck or low deck?
- Would you like to enjoy a land and sea adventure on the same vacation? Many sailings out of Port Canaveral are very convenient to combine with a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort as well.
You can also use the Find A Cruise tool on the Disney Cruise Line website to search for your perfect cruise vacation. The filters on that page can help you get started searching. For example, under the "Leaving" filter, you can select December 2025. Under the Guests filter, you can indicate the number of people in your travel party, separated by preferred stateroom groupings. Be sure to use the "Add Another Stateroom" feature to add the number of rooms you will need. Then, you can adjust the number of Guests assigned to each stateroom. Keep in mind that most staterooms sleep about three to five Guests. So you will likely need to book at least two staterooms, and likely three or four staterooms to accommodate your whole party.
Using the Find A Cruise tool, I searched for cruises with at least three staterooms available in December. I put in two or three adults and one child in each stateroom. The tool returned over 50 available cruises this December to choose from! Depending on your preferred itinerary and stateroom configurations, a cruise for your party of 10 could start as low as $2,267 per stateroom. As an example, a typical selection of three adjacent staterooms sailing on deck 6 aboard the Disney Dream on December 5, 2025, could currently total about $9,906. (Prices are subject to change and staterooms are subject to availability.)
