    I plan to buy theme park tickets now for a future trip with my grandson. I want to do the vacation package (room, dining, etc.) for the trip. Will I be able to do a package plan later, closer to our actual trip, w/o purchasing park admission tickets again?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your grandson has no idea of the brilliance of his grandma. When the time is right for you to visit Walt Disney World Resort for your vacation, you two will make lifetime memories that will be unforgettable.

    You may purchase your tickets now without any association to a room/hotel reservation or Magic Your Way Vacation Package. You are smart to get tickets now because the prices have increased recently and may do so in the future. I purchased tickets just before the price increase last February for my entire family. Now we are looking for dates to use them in 2017!

    When you find the right vacation time for you and your grandson just book your hotel. You will be able to link both your tickets and hotel reservations in your Disney Account through My Disney Experience.

    Disney Dad Tip: Please be aware that tickets have a 14-day expiration date from the first use. If you purchase 5-day ticket, all 5 days must be used in within 14 days of the first admission into one of the four main Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
