Hi Dion! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so happy you reached out to us with your question today.
I can tell that you are my kind of people. One of my favorite things to plan for an upcoming trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort is my
advanced dining reservations. There are so many options, including some fantastic new additions, that I start drooling when I make those reservations. If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can begin to make your reservations 60 days before your arrival date for your whole stay up to 10 days. You are definitely going to want to put
Roundup Rodeo BBQ at
Disney's Hollywood Studios on your list and
SPACE 220 in
EPCOT! And if you're going later in 2023, you will likely want to check out
Summer House on the Lake in
Disney Springs and
The Cake Bake Shop Bakery by Gwendolyn Rogers on
Disney's BoardWalk.
At this time, we are not sure when the
Disney Dining Plan may return. The possibility of a return was mentioned on
Disney Parks Blog a while ago, but we have not heard any news since then. Be sure to follow along with them to see if and when more announcements are made for this service.
One of the biggest reasons the Disney Dining Plan is so popular is that some Guests love the idea of paying for their food before their trip. It makes the trip feel like an "all-inclusive" experience and they don't have to worry about the food bill at the end of the trip. Well,
Disney Gift Cards can help with this as well. You can set your food budget ahead of time and load up Disney Gift Cards with that amount. This way, you are prepaying for your meals, keeping track of your spending, and avoiding those surprises at the end of the trip. Plus, there are even some stores that offer discounts on these cards so just do a little research and you can potentially save some money as well.
Dion, no matter where you eat or whether the Disney Dining Plan has returned by the time you arrive at the resort, you are sure to have some unforgettable dining experiences on your next trip. The character breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera at
Disney's Riviera Resort is at the top of my list to experience on my next trip. What about you?
If you have any other questions, please feel free to
