The
Wilderness Back Trail Adventure is such a fun and exhilarating way to explore the beautiful grounds of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! If you’ve ridden a Segway before, you know just how much fun they can be, and if not, I think you and your party will absolutely love it! And the fact that you’ll be riding them around
The Most Magical Place on Earth doesn’t hurt either!
Now let’s get into the details. Even though you are not staying at the resort, you will be able to park there. You may have to provide the reservation details for your Wilderness Back Trail Adventure prior to parking, but after that you’ll be on your way!
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort has a very large footprint, at over 750 acres! There is an internal shuttle at the resort that will take you from the Outpost Depot, where you’ll park, to the Meadow Recreation Area, which is closest to the Bike Barn where you’ll check in for the tour. This will save you many, many steps, which can be a lifesaver, because we all get enough steps in during a trip to Walt Disney World! And be sure to give yourself lots of time to get to the Meadow Recreation Area.
Friendly reminder that you’ll be able to book your Wilderness Back Trail Adventure 60 days before your visit, so mark your calendar! You’re in for a seriously good time, Shelley. Your tour guide will share some interesting trivia during your tour, you’ll stop by the
Tri-Circle-D Ranch stables, and you may spot some wildlife along the way!
