I plan to book a deluxe resort through renting a DVC room. Animal kingdom lodge. Do we get free dining packages when booking this way for September 10-17 2025 ?

    Jambo, Nicki!

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you so much for trekking by with your question. How exciting that you are planning an upcoming stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is one of my favorite places to stay, as I love to watch the animals be free to run around all day and free to do it all their own way at this African safari lodge-inspired Resort.

Nicki, the 2025 Free Dining Plan Offer was exclusively for Guests who purchased a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room at a select Disney Resorts Collection hotel and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option, for arrivals most nights from:

    - June 29 to September 30, 2025
    - October 20 to November 1, 2025
    - December 6 to December 22, 2025

Unfortunately, the booking deadline for this Special Offer has passed. While Guests who previously purchased this specific package for these travel dates will receive their Free Dining Plan, this specific offer is no longer available for new bookings. It also wouldn't apply to your stay, as it did not apply to stays using Disney Vacation Club Points.

Now, if you purchase a vacation package, which is a Disney Resort Hotel stay and tickets as a package, directly from Walt Disney World, then you can purchase the Disney Dining Plans as an add-on, and it would be an additional fee. Disney Vacation Club Members who use their Vacation Club Points to stay at a Disney Vacation Club Resort can also purchase the Disney Dining Plan through the Disney Vacation Club website by accessing their reservation in their dashboard and purchasing it to add to their reservation.

The Disney Quick Service Dining Plan provides two (2) Quick Service Meals, one (1) Snack per night of the stay, and a Resort-Refillable Mug for each guest over the age of 3. It is priced at $55.53 USD per adult ages 10+, and $23.20 USD per child ages 3-9, per night. Prices subject to change.

The Disney Dining Plan provides one (1) Quick Service Meal, one (1) Table Service Meal, one (1) Snack per night of the stay, and a Resort-Refillable Mug for each guest over the age of 3. It is priced at $91.82 USD per adult ages 10+, and $28.79 USD per child ages 3-9, per night. Prices subject to change.

I hope this helps you, Nicki! If you have any further questions, stop back here to see me and I'll be so glad to help you. All you've got to do is look left, then you've got to look right. I'll be right here - standing in the spotlight!
