I would like to plan a birthday trip. For my 20th. And I was wondering if you could help me plan.

Hey there, Soroyah! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by with a question for us.

I'm so excited to hear that you want to celebrate your birthday at The Happiest Place on Earth! Celebrations at Disneyland Resort just make everything a little bit more magical. If you are looking for some tips, tricks, and recommendations for your trip, we are here to help! If you need someone to plan your trip for you and deal with bookings, you will want to look into a travel agent who can assist you with that.

What I can tell you is that to start your planning, you will want to get your hotel and theme park tickets purchased first. Once your tickets are purchased, you can make theme park ticket reservations for the dates and parks you want to visit up to 120 days beforehand. You can bundle your tickets and hotel stay with a Disneyland Resort Hotel Package for a Disneyland Resort Hotel. There are also Good Neighbor Hotel Packages for hotels close to the resort area. Booking a hotel package is a great option if you are booking well in advance because it gives you the ability to make a down payment and then make payments or have a period before you need to pay the package in full. This will also give you the option for a refund if you cancel within the appropriate timelines.

Soroyah, I hope this helps you get a head start on your planning. Please come back and visit us again with your planning questions and we'd be happy to guide you with our suggestions! Thanks again for stopping by.

Well hello friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mama and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. We love that we are close enough to Disneyland Resort to make a last-minute trip to see the Mouse quite frequently. You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
