    Hi! We plan on going to the beach one day in port (not a part of DCL excursion). Will we be able to take towels from the ship with us or should we bring towels from home? Thanks!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! One of my family's favorite reasons why we love taking Disney Cruises so much is having the opportunity to travel to different parts of the world while receiving a daily dose of pixie dust from Captain Mickey! Disembarking the ship at different ports of call is so fun.

    You asked a great question about whether or not you can take towels from the ship along with you on your self-guided beach adventure. Since your day at the beach is not part of a Port Adventure through Disney Cruise Line, towels will not be provided for you, nor will you be able to bring towels from the pool deck. Bringing your family's beach towels from home is a great plan!

    Sand scattered inside your suitcase from a sandy beach towel might not be one of the souvenirs you want to bring home with you. If you'd like to wash your beach towels after returning to the ship, feel free to use the laundry facilities onboard! You can wash and dry your beach towels so they're clean for the trip home!
