    I plan to attend the Animal Kingdom on New Year's Eve. My children are toddlers so we don't plan to stay up till midnight. I would like to know if the Tusker House with the 8pm water light show will be available on NYE? Thanks.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. I’m thrilled to hear that you’re planning a New Year’s Eve trip to Walt Disney World Resort this year; it sounds like the perfect way to ring in 2020!

    We won’t know for sure when or even whether Rivers of Light will be scheduled on New Year’s Eve and whether the Rivers of Light Dining Package will even be available that night until at least this summer. There’s a good chance that the show will be presented at some point that night, but we should have a better idea of the timing later this summer or even in the early fall. 

    My suggestion would be to keep checking the Dining Package’s availability as of late June for your December trip. If you don’t see anything pop up by late July, I would recommend that you contact Walt Disney World Resort to see whether they have any additional information for you. Another great place to check for news about Holiday happenings around Walt Disney World Resort would be the Disney Parks Blog.
