We plan on arriving at WDW parks around 20th December 2020 (staying offsite). We also have flights booked for a four week stay in summer 2021. Will I be able to buy an annual pass before we fly in December this year or will I have to give Disney a miss?

    Hi Diane!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your query.  As Walt Disney World Resort enters its phased reopening many of us are eager to plan the details of our upcoming trips!  According to Parks and Tickets: Know Before You Go, current 2020 ticket sales are currently on pause.  Later this summer the plan is to resume sales of 2020 tickets and Disney Resort hotel reservations. This is to allow Guests with existing tickets and Annual Passes the opportunity to make park reservations using the Disney Park Pass System. Then later this summer, based on availability of park reservations, other Guests will be able to purchase tickets and make their theme park reservations.

Keep checking the Know Before You Go page for the latest updates on theme park tickets and phased reopening of Walt Disney World.  Another helpful page is Disney Parks Blog which is a great resource for the latest Disney news and my own personal daily dose of Disney Magic.

Please let us know if we can assist you in answering any further questions!
