    We plan an April visit with our seven year old son. Since this would be his first time there, which park is most recommended? Thanks.

    Hi Laura! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I think that a first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is so exciting!

    If I had to choose the best park for a first visit, I would choose Magic Kingdom Park. When I think of Disney World, this is the first park that comes to mind. I love this park so much because I feel that there is something for everyone. As you walk down Main Street U.S.A., Cinderella Castle is welcoming you and your family.

    When it comes to attractions there are so many to experience. If your son is looking for adventure, your family can conquer all of the “mountains.” Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain are family favorites for us. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has thrill and entertainment all wrapped up into one fun, smooth, family roller coaster. Classic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Mad Tea Party, and the Walt Disney World Railroad can be enjoyed as a family.

    There are many great shows like Mickey’s PhilharMagic and the parades are some of our favorite experiences. The dining is great, and in my opinion Liberty Tree Tavern is one of the most delicious dining locations in the whole park. At night when you want to take a short rest, we love riding the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.

    It is my opinion that Magic Kingdom Park is a place that wonderful family memories are easily made. It is a park that my family talks about often and is voted as their favorite park in all of the Walt Disney World Resort!
