We plan on going April 2013. We don't have exact dates because we are wondering if there is a optimal time to go during this time? How many days should we plan to be at the park? Our kiddos will be a 4 yr old and a 9 month old.

    Hi Olivia!

If you aren't worried about taking kids out of school, the end of April is the best time to visit.  This is after Spring Break crowds and before summer vacation starts.  Take a look at any specials that are being offered during April.  That could sway your decision as well.

If this is your first visit, a full week is a good amount of time to vacation at Walt Disney World.  I like to suggest one full day in each park with an extra day at the Magic Kingdom.  The Magic Kingdom has the most attractions for small kids, plus it's my favorite park!  If your budget/schedule allows, plan on a free day to explore.  This can be for exploring your Walt Disney World Resort or even Downtown Disney, which is my favorite place to shop.

My family loves playing in the water parks and April is a great time of year for some splashin' around.

Each park has a Baby Care Center that is perfect and private to nurse as well as comfortable diaper changing stations.  You can also pick up any essentials you may have left behind.  You should definitely check them out to see how awesome they are in case you need to visit later in the day.  I have attached a video on the Baby Care Centers for more information.

Please come back to visit me if you have any additional questions.

    Have a magical day!
