Hi there, Blake! Welcome to planDisney!
Can you believe that your trip to
Walt Disney World Resort is only a few weeks away? I'm so excited for you to step into the magic! With so much to see and do, you're sure to make extra special memories together. I'd love to help you and your family make the most out of your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Blake, the
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a great resource for eligible Guests. When it comes to DAS, there are a few important items to note! First, this service is provided for Guests with disabilities who have difficulty tolerating a conventional queue environment, not for mobility issues. But have no fear! Walt Disney World Resort also has
services for Guests with mobility disabilities so no one has to miss a minute of the magic! I would recommend that you take a peek at that resource for your family. It's also important to note that the Guest who has registered for DAS must be present for the attraction return times. This means that if your child was approved and registered for DAS, it would be necessary for your child to ride the attraction(s) made with DAS return times. In that case, it would be important to only select attractions with height restrictions that your child will qualify for.
If you have any other questions, I'd suggest reaching out to Disability Services at (407) 560-2547! They will be happy to help you with more information or any additional next steps. And if you have any other Walt Disney World Resort planning questions, please visit us again!
You've got a friend in me!
