Would like to plan well ahead and would like to know if there's a family page so that if other family members want to go they can add their selves to see which family members are going and what hotels they are staying at.

    Hi Adrian!

So happy to welcome you to planDisney for the first time! Hey, I salute you for wanting to get all the planning done in advance. That’s how I roll, too! Getting organized for a Walt Disney World vacation is a great feeling, isn’t it? Especially when you have a large family needing multiple reservations and lots of coordination.

To share your Disney plans with family members, you will have to add them to your Family and Friends list in your My Disney Experience account. Sign in to your account and from the drop-down menu, you’ll select “My Family & Friends.” Clicking on “Add a Guest” will then prompt you to add people to this list.

You can add a Guest through friend connections you already have, a Walt Disney World reservation, or by adding a Guest's name and age. Your family members would need to create a My Disney Experience account if they don't have one already. Once they do, they could accept your invitation. If you run into any issues, the My Disney Experience team can be reached at (407) 939-4357.

Depending on how you set permissions, your Family & Friends on your list will be able to see all of your plans (the default setting), or you can customize it by allowing them to only see the plans you have in common.

Once you are linked to your family members, you will be able to see their Walt Disney World Resort reservations, park tickets, and advance dining reservations. Having completed this step will make it easier for you all to coordinate your Disney Park Pass reservations for your upcoming trip!

In doing this, you will have essentially created what you wanted: a family page for coordinating all aspects of your Walt Disney World vacation. My final tip: download the My Disney Experience app if you don’t already have it on your mobile device. It will enable mobile ordering and advance dining reservations and allow you to check attraction wait times. All excellent things to be able to do while exploring the theme parks!

Thanks for stopping by and visiting us at planDisney. Wishing you a magical vacation with your family!
