I am plaining a stay at one of the Disneyland hotel. On the first day I will arrived around 11:00 and not make it for early entreance. Will I be able to use the early entrance on the day of check-out?

Hello Txoos! Welcome to planDisney! Oh boy! I'm so thrilled to hear that you have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up very soon! I imagine you're counting down the days.

Thank you for your great question! My family absolutely loves the Disneyland Hotel! Open just a few months after Disneyland Park in 1955, the Disneyland Hotel holds that incredible Disney history with today’s modern style. You’ll be transported to paradise another world away, yet still only a five-minute stroll to the monorail station and Downtown Disney District.

You'll be happy to know, Txoos, that Guests of a Disneyland Resort Hotel are able to take advantage of Early Entry, which allows Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests (you!) entry into one of the two parks each day 30 minutes prior to official park opening, on check in AND check out days - if they have a theme park ticket. During my recent stay at Disneyland Hotel, I enjoyed a practically empty park with Early Entry on my check out day - before I had to make the sad flight back home! It's a perfect way to experience one last bit of the magic!

Txoos, to take advantage of the Early Entry perk, make sure you have your park reservation for Disneyland Park if your check out day is on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday and California Adventure Park if your check out day is on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. (Double check the Hours & Events Calendar to confirm Early Entry days.)

During your magical stay at the Disneyland Hotel, please don't forget to check out the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad diorama in the Frontier Tower Lobby. The diorama was built to a 1/4" to 1' scale of Frontierland's famous coaster and is a recreation of the original model used by Imagineers in the 1970s to create Big Thunder. It's incredible and my family, including two young sons, can't get enough of taking in every little detail.

I hope this information has been helpful, Txoos. As you continue to prepare for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, please stop by and ask me another question anytime! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland, like maybe my not-to-be-missed quick service snacks or some strategies to make sure you hit all your favorite attractions.

    See you real soon!

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla
