When placing a reservation for Mickeys Backyard BBQ it wants to charge my card immediately rather than just hold that card like other reservations. I had planned to use our DDP (2 credits) each for this meal. How can I avoid this immediate charge?

    Hello, Rhonda!

I have to tell you that I absolutely LOVE Mickey's Backyard BBQ located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!  This is such a fun experience, and the food is "slap yourself silly" good!

I am very happy to inform you that when you make reservations for Mickey's Backyard BBQ, your credit card will not be charged.  Your credit card is only used to hold your reservation.  I even verified this information with a very helpful Cast Member this morning.  When you make this reservation online, it can get confusing, especially when it asks for your credit card.  I recommend calling (407) WDW-DINE and make reservations with a Cast Member. Then, you will know your reservations are confirmed and that your credit card will not be charged.

If you have other questions, please let us know!

Have a MAGICAL day, and eat some BBQ for me!
