    For places like Whispering Canyon when using DDP do u still get an app main and dessert? Can milkshakes be a dessert? Since the all u can eat skillet is the only choice could just 2 of us use credits and share there is 4 of us. Thank u!

    The Whispering Canyon Cafe is a hoopin' hollerin' good time and your family platter will surely suit the hungry cowboys at your table! The very best aspects of Walt Disney World lies in the incredible theming you'll find in Disney Resort hotels, and Disney's Wilderness Lodge will not disappoint.

    I love utilizing the Disney dining plans, and the Magic Your Way plus dining package allows you to use 1 table service credit per guest at Whispering Canyon Cafe. By policy, Disney does not permit meal sharing at all-you-care-to-eat restaurants. Although a Cast Member may be willing to allow a shared meal, please be prepared to use 1 table service credit per guest. 

    Especially while using the dining plan, I find Whispering Canyon Cafe to be a great value. Although menu items are always subject to change, you'll likely find mixed greens, cornbread, pulled pork, pork ribs, chicken, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, beans and corn on the cob on the all-you-care-to-eat platter. Desserts are included in the Magic Your Way plus dining package, however adding an appetizer to your meals would require an upgraded dining plan. In my experience, the amazing, bottomless milkshake can be used as your dessert.

    Second only to 50's Prime Time Cafe, the Cast Members will engage guests in hilarious, obnoxious banter but I won't spoil the surprise. I will, however, suggest you ask for the ketchup!
