What are some unusual/underrated places to visit in disney, meaning rides or hotels or restaurants, anything! Where are places people seldom visit or know about? Leaning more towards older kids would be great (17ish). Thanks so much!! :)

    Poreoches:

If your family enjoys golf or just the outdoors, I've found through the use of the Water Parks & More Option on our tickets, that the golf course at Oak Trail is one of the best values at Disney. We've never had trouble getting a tee time and you can rent golf clubs for just an extra $15 so you don't have to bring yours on vacation. The 9-hole course is family-friendly and a pleasant walk. The two miniature golf courses, Winter Summerland and Fantasia, also allow a respite from the busy parks.

Future World in Epcot offers a lot of our older teens favorite off-the-beaten activities. We never miss taking a break at Coca-Cola's Club Cool. Why use a snack credit on your dining plan if you can drink all the soda you want there? The games at the exit of Spaceship Earth also seem to be overlooked by rushing crowds. Take a minute to explore those the next time you're there. Sum of All Thrills in the Innoventions Pavilion is a much-repeated ride by my kids as they can build their own experience while learning some practical math skills.

The older our children get, the more they appreciate the restaurant experiences at Disney. Narcoossee's and its view of Wishes from its Veranda brings a special close to any vacation. Rose & Crown's water view tables--even if it's not time for Illuminations--as well as San Angel Inn under the stars provide memorable backdrops. Even picky eaters can find something on the menu to enjoy. Every mom on the panel probably has her go-to in the parks, feel free to come back and ask again.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
