It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mollie Jo!
The holiday season is my favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and by the time you arrive for the week of Thanksgiving, you'll notice that all of the Theme Parks and Resort Hotels are gorgeously decorated with festive plants, flowers, and ornaments and there's that extra little bit of pixie dust that can only be felt around Christmastime. It's the perfect time of year to make new family memories!
When it comes to a traditional Thanksgiving meal that includes turkey and all the trimmings, there are going to be a few different options for you on November 28 this year.
Liberty Tree Tavern at
Magic Kingdom Park serves a classic American holiday meal every single day of the year and is a hot-ticket reservation on Thanksgiving Day.
Garden Grill Restaurant at
Epcot also serves a family-style meal featuring turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes every day for lunch and dinner with the added bonus of it being a
Character Dining experience as well.
Every year, there are a few restaurants that will also choose to present a special limited-time holiday menu for their guests on Thanksgiving Day. While we don't quite know yet which dining locations are confirmed to be offering Thanksgiving dinner, there have been some restaurants that have offered it consistently in years past. Epcot is a great place to go, with dining locations like
Le Cellier Steakhouse and the
Rose & Crown Dining Room being famous for celebrating Thanksgiving Day with guests.
Biergarten Restaurant in the Germany Pavilion even has a holiday buffet, and the decor inside really evokes that warm fuzzy holiday feeling for me. Some Quick-Service restaurants even like to get in on the fun, like
Satu'li Canteen at
Disney's Animal Kingdom, which had a delicious turkey and stuffing bowl on the menu last year. I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to be the first to know which dining locations will be announcing special Thanksgiving menus this year.
Have a magical day, Mollie Jo!
