What places are safe to dine or get snack from for peanut/treenut allergic people in Disney Springs. The last response I received was Rainforest Cafe which has been closed for years. I appreciate the recommendations!

Hello, Kelly, welcome to planDisney! As a self-proclaimed foodie and a parent to a child with a severe peanut allergy myself, I can spend countless hours researching menus at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Springs when we are planning our next vacation, so I appreciate you doing your due diligence ahead of time. I am getting hungry just thinking about it!

Just like Disney World theme parks and Disney Resort Collection hotels, Cast Members, servers, and Chefs at Disney Springs restaurants will do whatever they can to make you feel more comfortable when ordering a snack or your meal. Unfortunately there isn’t a handy list containing the restaurants that can serve foods and snacks that are peanut/treenut free you can review ahead of time, guests that have Special Dietary Requests can contact Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com for recommendations and assistance, but no sooner than 14 days before your arrival.

Kelly, you will be happy to know that the Rainforest Café at Disney Springs Marketplace is alive, well, and still able to accommodate guests with peanut/treenut allergies. After speaking to a hostess, I was advised that all allergies can be accommodated at this location, simply make a note of it when booking through the My Disney Experience app and remind the host/hostess when you arrive. I went a couple of steps further and contacted T-REX and Terralina Crafted Italian to reconfirm my own experience, as it has been a couple of years, but both confirmed that they can accommodate guests with these allergies. Lastly, I was able to find the allergen menus online at Chicken Guy! and Blaze Pizza and saw different options that were available for peanut and treenut allergies. My family has personally eaten at all of these locations, but as always, I recommend you double-check with the Cast Member, server, or Chef, to hear directly from those preparing your meal so you can have a relaxing and stress-free experience.

I hope this information puts you on the right path to planning your upcoming visit to Disney Springs, Kelly. Please feel free to visit us again at planDisney with any follow-up questions you have.
    Cheers,
    Brent
