Are the places to rent wheelchairs in Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom open really early for Early Entry hours?

Hey there, Cathy! Welcome BACK to planDisney! The World’s Most Magical Celebration is currently in full swing, and with your Disney Vacation only a month out, you’ll be right in the middle of all the special Celebration magic! I mean, who doesn’t love a party!?

Cathy, wheelchairs are available for rent at each of the Theme Parks and Disney Springs. Guests can begin renting wheelchairs when the park opens, including Early Theme Park Entry hours. Wheelchairs are available to Guests on a first-come, first-serve basis, and availability is not guaranteed. Rentals are available as a Daily rental or Length of Stay rental. But please note that the wheelchairs rented in the Theme Parks must be returned each day and when you leave each Theme Park.

If you will need a wheelchair for use outside of the theme parks for your stay, you can consider using an outside vendor like the Disney Featured Provider, Scooterbug. Using an outside vendor would give you the option to reserve the wheelchair or ECV before your visit and keep it the entire length of your stay. So you’d be able to use the wheelchair throughout your Disney Resort Hotel as well. A link to the Scooterbug website is included at the Disney wheelchair rental link above.

I hope this helps, Cathy! If you have more questions as you put the finishing touches on your visit, stop back by and ask me. Soon you’ll be immersed in the magic of Walt Disney World!
