Greetings, Catherine!
Welcome to planDisney and may the games begin! My family is gearing up for the big game, their only request is a cookie cake from our local grocery store. Our team didn’t make it this year, but football is pretty big in our home so we celebrate every year.
I am so excited that you will be at
Disney World for the big game. That’s been a dream of mine since I was a little girl, fingers crossed it will come true soon. I did check in with my fellow panelists and their recommendation is to head over to
Disney Springs.
Splitsville Luxury Lanes and
City Works Eatery & Pour House are both great viewing locations. Both locations offer food and are home to plenty of television screens, so you’re bound to catch the game on one of those.
If you’re looking for an on-the-go option, I recommend checking to see if your mobile device can stream the game. I’ve seen both my husband and dad do this on other trips to Walt Disney World. Never the Super Bowl though, I can’t get either of them away from the comforts of their living room. I’m not joking when I say the Super Bowl is a big deal for us.
Another recommendation I have for you, Catherine, is to follow the
Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information. That’s where any information or other special viewing locations will be announced. Since you will already be there, I also recommend checking the Disney Parks Blog for any information on the Super Bowl parade that often occurs in Magic Kingdom the following day. You never know who you might see!
I do hope these recommendations help find the perfect viewing spot. If there's anything else we can help with, you know where to find us.
Enjoy your trip and the big game!
Shantel
