what places can I see the fireworks of the magic kingdom without being in the actual park?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Erin!

I am huge Disney fireworks aficionado. No matter how many times I’ve seen the shows, I simply don’t get tired of them! There are often tears involved. And definitely a potential outburst in song. What can I say, they move me!

There are several prime spots to watch Happily Ever After, Magic Kingdom’s firework show, outside of the park. Here are my favorite spots. ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. This is the ultimate dinner with a view. You’ll even be able to listen to the music! Just make sure to check the schedules so you can make your reservation at the perfect time. And request a table by the window. Likewise, a perfectly timed reservation at California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers some equally incredible views!

If you prefer to watch without dining, you could visit Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and head down to the beach. I recommend grabbing a tasty treat, like the famous DOLE WHIP pineapple soft serve at the Pineapple Lanai to enjoy the show with! Also, the Ticket and Transportation Center Ferry dock area has some stunning views if you happen to find yourself there around that time.

I hope you get to enjoy the show during your visit. And if you’re like me, you might even try to catch it more than once!

Wishing you a magical day and a fireworks-filled future! See ya real soon,
