    Is there any places to eat around AK that has a view of the animals?

    There are no restaurants in the Animal Kingdom park that actually overlook any of the animals.  However, our very favorite place to grab a bite to eat is the Flametree Barbecue.  It is counter service but if you take your trays and follow the path on the left down to the water's edge or the natural pool area you will find many feathered friends waiting for you.  There is abundant shade and a peacefulness that allows you great rest and relaxation while you dine.  You are asked not to feed your friends who come quite close begging but it is fun to have that experience.  Those sitting at the water's edge might spot a few of the large fish in the waters and will also have a great view of Expedition Everest.

    For an animated animal experience you can choose the Rainforest Cafe which is located just at the entrance to the park. This is a fun place where every so often the restaurant comes alive with storms and trumpeting elephants etc.  Small children might be a bit afraid of this experience if your table is close to the animals.
